Xeste 3 seams to be the most important house of Akrotiri :
1.This is where the fertility goddess is painted receiving a crocus from a monkey (crocus gathering monkey according to proff. Platon from Crete )
2.The house fonction according to the archeologists , is related to the rituals of initiation .
3.The wounded girl ( image bellow) is blinding : strong evidence of an unknown initiation process related with fertility .
Hippocrate was using saffron to heal sterility as following :
He was inserting saffron powder sticked on a branch with the help of castor oil to the uterus because saffron was already known as an emmenagogue
